The Irish Setter is a comic, of that there is no doubt, if he sees that he has amused you by his actions he'll repeat it just to hear you laugh!

 

This breed is , contrary to popular belief, intelligent. He was originally bred as a hunting dog and no one wants a stupid dog around guns believe me. The Irish Setter doesn't suit everyone of course, effort has to be put into training as well as time set aside for grooming and exercise.
